Amaey Bhartiya is an Economics graduate and finance professional with a strong interest in culture, history, and cross-cultural learning. Having grown up in Bihar and later studied and worked in diverse academic and professional environments, Amaey has seen firsthand how misunderstood regions can be when they are viewed only from the outside.

Alongside his work in finance and investing, Amaey has consistently focused on initiatives that promote access, inclusion, and understanding. Bihar Walks was born from his desire to present Bihar through lived experiences rather than preconceived notions, and to create spaces where visitors and locals can learn from one another.

Amaey personally designs and leads the walks, combining historical context with observations from everyday life. His approach is conversational, respectful, and rooted in genuine curiosity, allowing visitors to engage with Bihar in an authentic and meaningful way.
